How travel eSIMs work
No SIM tray, no queue at the airport
An eSIM is a data plan installed digitally onto your phone rather than posted to you on a plastic card. You buy it before you travel, scan a QR code to install it, and it connects to a local network the moment you land — while your normal number stays active for calls and two-factor codes.
Pick your destination
Choose the country you are visiting, or a regional plan if you are crossing several borders on one trip.
Install before you fly
You get a QR code by email. Scan it on Wi-Fi at home — installation takes about two minutes.
Land connected
The plan activates when it first finds a local network. No roaming bills, no hunting for a shop with your bags.
Check your phone first: eSIMs need a compatible, carrier-unlocked handset. Most iPhones from the XS onward and most recent Android flagships support them — search your model plus "eSIM support" if you're unsure.
