Vaga Solutions LLC, operating as VagaPay ("we", "our" or "us"), operates the VagaPay website and mobile application (together, the "Service"). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your information when you use the Service, both today and as new features are introduced.

• Personal information: full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, mailing address, nationality, and government-issued ID information where verification is required.
• Account information: username, profile photo, biography, followers and following data, community posts, messages, and event participation.
• Travel and booking information: searches you run, saved trips, price alerts, and booking references you submit when claiming credits.
• Transaction and financial information: payment details, bank account details, crypto wallet addresses, transaction history and money transfer records.
• Compliance and legal data: visa details, travel history, manually entered tax residency records, and related compliance information.
• Technical data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, network provider and app usage logs.
• Location data: GPS or network-based location when you enable it, used for nearest-airport detection, location features and fraud prevention.
• Cookies and tracking data: information about how you browse the VagaPay website.

• Provide and operate the Service, including travel search and booking hand-off to our partners.
• Detect your nearest airport and show relevant prices, destinations and eSIM options.
• Facilitate money transfers, currency conversion and, where enabled, bank and crypto transactions.
• Award, verify and pay out VagaPay Credits on bookings you submit.
• Maintain profiles, community posts, groups, events and messaging.
• Track the visa and tax records you choose to enter, and send the reminders you ask for.
• Detect, investigate and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
• Send service updates, price alerts and offers, and respond to support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations and partner requirements.

• Booking and service partners: the airline, hotel, tour, eSIM, car rental or transfer supplier you choose, so your booking can be completed.
• Service providers: payment processors, banking partners, crypto wallet integrations, email delivery, hosting and analytics providers.
• Regulatory authorities: to comply with financial, tax and anti-money-laundering regulations.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
• We never sell your personal information to unrelated third parties.

Bookings and transfers complete on our partners' own platforms, including Aviasales (flights), Expedia and VRBO (hotels), Viator (tours), Airalo (eSIMs), EconomyBookings (car rental), BikesBooking (bike rental), Welcome Pickups (airport transfers), Xe (international money transfers) and Stripe and PayPal (payments and payouts). Their own privacy policies apply to the information you give them, and your payment details are handled by them rather than by VagaPay.

We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the Service or to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time, subject to records we are legally required to retain.

We use cookies and similar technologies on the VagaPay website. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing your choice in your browser.

• Essential cookies — keep you signed in and the Service working. These cannot be switched off.
• Analytics cookies — help us measure usage and improve performance.
• Affiliate and marketing cookies — set by our booking partners so a booking can be attributed to VagaPay, which is how commission and your credits are tracked.

Rejecting non-essential cookies does not stop you searching or booking, but it may prevent a booking from being attributed to your account for credits.

Where GDPR applies, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Correct inaccuracies
• Request deletion (the "right to be forgotten")
• Restrict processing
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Object to processing, including direct marketing

To exercise any of these, email support@vagapay.app. We aim to respond within 30 days.

We apply industry-standard encryption, access controls and monitoring to protect your data, and payment details are handled by our payment partners rather than stored by us. No system is entirely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

VagaPay serves travellers worldwide, so your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including outside the EU and UK. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and will delete any such data if we become aware of it.
